Local Business Tax Receipt Renewal Notices will be mailed to Alachua County business owners the week of July 8th. This year, when business taxes are paid, owners will need to go online and print their Local Business Tax Receipts. If you are unable to print the Business Tax Receipt, please notify our office and we’ll be happy to print and mail the Business Tax Receipt to the owner.
When paying by credit card or e-check via our website, you will be able to print your own Local Business Tax Receipt to display at your place of business as soon as your payment is made. If you pay by mail, please give us five business days to receive and process your payment. After the fifth business day, visit our website and print your Local Business Tax Receipt for display. In an effort to be more fiscally responsible, and to provide you with online printing capabilities, we believe this new process will help business owners as well as our office.
