United Way of North Central Florida awards Alachua County Tax Collector’s office.

This year the United Way of North Central Florida awarded the Alachua County Tax Collector’s office with their highest honor…the GAV Award!!!  “GAV” stands for “Give, Advocate and Volunteer”.  We are in company with UF Health, Nationwide and Enterprise Holdings.  That’s huge!  We thank our staff for their consistent support throughout the years.  Last year we also achieved 100% participation with payroll deduction contributions. Contributions have never been needed more.  The COVID-19 pandemic has stretched available resources with more people needing assistance, while donations have taken a hit at the same time.
